Singapore>Johor Bahru> Kuching

Just arrived in Kuching a few hours ago, after a long mix of subway rides out of Singapore city to the top of Singapore country, then take a bus 10 minutes, go through immigration out of Singapore, get back on a new bus for five minutes, and then off again to go through Malaysia immigration. Then, burst into Johor Bahru, greeted with culture shock....going from ultra-clean and perhaps sterile Singapore to much chaotic. We were greeted every 10 minutes by street vendors trying to sell us pirated versions of American music and movies. After a quick lunch at a islamic indian open-air restaurant, off again to grab an Air Asia flight to Borneo, landing in Kuching. This will be our launching pad into multiple verdant National Parks. Very tired, off to bed at our hostel. Bye for now...

Thank you for the blog. We are enjoying reading about the various sites on the links to Wiki....
Does look interesting. Certainly seeing a lot of variety. How have the hostels been so far? Do you have reservations at this point?
Love, Mom

This isn't Shannon but I'm not going to try and figure out how to get a "google account" when I can just highjack hers. After looking around on this internet I have found that yours is faster than Bonnie and Eric's. Your internet has already blogged more in three days than theirs has in three weeks. Our internet doesn't even have two "google accounts." Happy travels. Love, Its Not Shannon...Its Brian
